We know, we know. It’s been a while. We were just thinking, “Wow, how long has it been since we sent out a newsletter? Our clients are probably checking their mailboxes daily, waiting for the next one to arrive!” … or maybe not. But hey, you never know. In any case, we’re definitely excited to be sending one. We were throwing out ideas for what kind of hilarious story or insightful insight or grand announcement we could make, and we determined that we were, quite possibly, thinking too hard.
So, we decided to keep it simple. We figured we’d use this opportunity to call some attention to one of our favorite features in our membership package, just in case you haven’t heard much about it. Or maybe you have, but forgot. Or maybe you have and haven’t forgot — in which case you can probably skip the rest of this newsletter, unless you just like reading the stuff we write. (If that’s how it is, then really, you’re too kind.)
Anyway, back to the thing we were going to talk about. We call them Creative Recommendations. Once a month, someone on our team spends some time looking over your site and putting together a list of possible improvements and updates that could be made. They then post these suggestions on your Client Account Page, and you can either “thumbs up” or “thumbs down” the recommendations to let us know whether or not you’d like us to go through with them (for most of you, using your monthly support time). These suggestions range from possible design changes and copy edits to backend development and functional improvements.
Of course, Creative Recommendations aren’t meant to replace or diminish our customer support process; your own update requests take absolute precedence, as always. These suggestions are just our way of trying to do some of the legwork for you, to make your life a little easier. We’re hoping that, since website stuff is our forte, having us on the lookout for possible improvements will be useful to you. Or, if not, that it will at least encourage you as you consider the ways in which you’d like your website to evolve alongside your business.
Also, before we go, we wanted to introduce our two newest team members: Rob, a developer, and Heidi, our social media specialist! They’re both absolutely incredible. We’re lucky to have them!
’Til next time,
